Family Routine - This lesson plan talks about daily routines using the present tense. This lesson introduces some phrasal verbs and encourages students to use vocabulary related to time. I especially love this activity for my beginner students.

A routine is a plan to do things at certain times. Sunday evening, we plan for the week ahead. We have school-age children, so it gets busy. Monday morning, we, the parents, get up at 6:00 am to get ready for the day. 5 10 Family Routine We wake the kids at 7:00 am to eat breakfast. They need enough time to make their bed, brush their teeth, get dressed, and pack their backpacks. We leave the house at 7:45 and drop the kids off at school before 8:00 am.
