When teachers hear «assessment», we usually think «tests» or «exams». However, a large (if not major) part of assessment is already embedded into our daily practice and in this talk Masha will offer a few ways in which teachers can structure their ongoing assessment to gain a deeper and broader understanding of learning in their classrooms. The other part of this session is devoted to teaching self-assessment skills to young learners, and the speaker will provide examples from their own practice alongside with resources and schemes that participants could take to their learners.
