  2. Barcelona Beer Fes,val An execu>ve introduc>on Since 2012, the Barcelona

    Beer Fes,val -BBF- has been one of the many players commited to make Barcelona one of the most exci,ng places in Europe where one can drink beer. !  Barcelona Beer Fes,val celebrates its first edi>on in March 2012, inspired by CAMRA Fes,vals (we get the beer, our staff pulls it). !  The first edi>on turns out to be 5 ,mes bigger than expected. Barcelona is thirsty of good beer. !  The main goals of the fes,val were, and s>ll are: " Dissemina>on of the craL beer culture throughout the community of beer drinkers (i.e. from plain consumers to beer geeks). " To accompany the local beer scene in its growth and promo>on. !  We have had an increasingly diverse public, up to 30.000 thousand assistants on the last two edi>ons. Our efforts aim to make them all feel part of the Fes,val. !  We have always looked for meaningful, special loca,ons for our Fes>val. But we have reached the roof of our venues, and there is s,ll many thirsty people out there! !  The organisa,on team is a very small one. Dedica>on is high, but the “job” is a very sa>sfying one: year aSer year we have to reinvent ourselves and keep a close track of the industry trends. 1
