The requirement consists of the operation and maintenance of the Columbia Scientific Balloon Facility (CSBF) and engineering services to support the NASA Balloon program. It is anticipated that the performance will be for a period of five years commencing on April 24, 2014. CSBF is a Government-owned facility located in Palestine, Texas, with a permanent balloon staging facility at Fort Sumner, New Mexico. The 38 pre-competed Contract Holders offer a wide range of advanced technology including tablets, desktops and servers; IT peripherals; network equipment; storage systems; security tools; software products; cloud based services; video conferencing systems and other IT and Audio-Visual products.
