  1. How we see Lean UX !   The practice of

continuous market feedback: as soon as possible, with as little as possible
  2. How we see Lean UX !   We do our

research and testing as we develop and grow product
  3. Lean + Agile for full ROR (Return on Research) !

Agile enables lean to be more than a great product feedback mechanism, to give full potential to research results
  4. Lean + Agile for full ROR (Return on Research) !

We use quick and collaborative methods for disseminating our knowledge we’ve gained so far and making it the teams responsibility
  5. Why is it so valuable? !   Full speed ahead!

    •  Providing the business validation and strategic pivots early and throughout •  Able to “out learn” the competition, making the difference from good to great •  Empowering all team members to “make the call” •  The product becomes a deliverable from the group, rather than an individual •  Building product from day 1 !   Team product validation and exploration •  Different people analyze feedback to produce different results •  Example: Developers empowered to innovate, when traditionally have been too downstream. Who has better technical ideas than a developer? !   Holding the team accountable for market feedback and pivots – not just designers
  6. Be prepared! !   It doesn’t work when: •  there

are lots of embedded dependencies are present within: tech, business, and/or design. •  we can’t access the market. •  we can’t get access and collaboration between internal departments. •  are in situations when product release must be sudden and complete. •  when the business needs to pre-approve all items. •  when the stakeholder is placed above the customer. •  it’s seen as a pre-emptive strike. Design issues will always come up, no matter what. •  we receive negative feedback cycles that cause over-reactions – cycles should be well planned and thought through.
