My second talk at ITEM in Dnipro, Ukraine. A few thoughts on how getting to grips with open source and open standards changes how you think about leadership and strategy.

    size of 36pt U.S. Digital Services Playbook The American people expect to interact with government through digital channels such as websites, email, and mobile applications. By building better digital services that meet the needs of the people that use our services, we can make the delivery of our policy and programs more effective. Today, too many of our digital services projects do not work well, are delivered late, or are over budget. To increase the success rate of these projects, the U.S. Government needs a new approach. We created a playbook of 13 key “plays” drawn from successful best practices from the private sector and government that, if followed together, will help government build effective digital services. Choose a modern technology stack 9. Deploy in a flexible hosting environment 10. Automate testing and deployments 11. Manage security and privacy through reusable processes 12. Rules reduction taskf The Rules Reduction Task looking at updating housi property rules in New Zea Compliance Matters f small business If you’re a small business you can manage all of yo compliance requirements new tool from business.g New duty free rules fo cigarettes and tobacco The limit for duty free tob coming into NZ is now on cigarettes or 50 grams of or tobacco products. If yo exceed this limit and dec you will be charged duty GST. If you don't declare anything over the limit, y tobacco will be seized and can be prosecuted.
