3. Soul-winning is the most rewarding work. Soul-winning
4. There are no joy to match than seeing a person receive forgiveness and new life!
5. A lighthouse keeper on a rocky peninsula was joined by a childhood friend.
6. “Do you ever get lonesome out there by yourself?” his friend asked.
7. The lighthouse keeper smiled and said with a special light in his eyes, “I used to, until the night I save 4-men from drowning.”
8. “Since then, I’ve learned the thrill of saving lives.”
9. “Once rescued, they are changed, I saw how grateful their wives and children…”
10. “Will be for the rest of their lives to have their husbands and fathers back safe.”
11. “His sight made him always on the lookout for other boats so he might save men and women from a watery grave.”
12. Likewise, if you bring someone to new life in Jesus.
13. You will also get a new vision of evangelism.
14. WAS JESUS’PRIMARY WORK GOSPEL CAUSE (Soul-Winning)
15. 10 “For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost.” Luke 19:10 NLT
16. After Zacchaeus met Jesus, he realized that his life needed straightening out.
17. Demonstrated inner change by outward action. Zacchaeus
18. Jesus came to save all the lost, regardless of their background or previous way of life.
19. Through faith, the lost can be forgiven & made new. forgiven made new
20. 15 “This is a trustworthy saying, and everyone should accept it: “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners”—and I am the worst of them all.” 1 Timothy 1:15 NLT
21. Jesus came into the world to save sinners, and no sinner is beyond His saving power.
22. Jesus came to offer us salvation that leads to eternal life.
23. Paul did not hesitate to share his past, because he knew his failures would allow others to have hope.
24. At times we hesitate to share our past struggles with others because we are afraid it will tarnish our image.
25. Don’t be afraid to let others know what Christ has done for you.
26. CAUSES sin to stop GOSPEL
27. 20 “You can be sure that whoever brings the sinner back from wandering will save that person from death and bring about the forgiveness of many sins.” James 5:20 NLT
28. A person who has wandered from the truth is a believer who has fallen into sin, one who is no longer living a life consistent with his or her beliefs.
29. Christians disagree over whether or not it is possible for people to lose their salvation.
30. But all agree that those who fall away from their faith are in serious trouble and need to repent.
31. James urges believers to help back-sliders return to God.
32. The book of James emphasizes faith in action. FAITH Action
33. Right living is the evidence and result of faith. Right living faith
34. compassion The Church must serve with compassion, CHURCH compassion
35. speak lovingly & truthfully, live in obedience to God’s commands, love one another. lovingly truthfully
36. The body of believers ought to be an example of heaven on earth,
37. Drawing people to Christ through love for God and each other.
38. 3 “Those who are wise will shine as bright as the sky, and those who lead many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever.” DANIEL 12:3 NLT
39. God tells us how we can be eternal stars, by being wise and leading many to God’s righteousness. God’s righteousness
40. If we share Christ to others, we can be true stars, radiantly beautiful in God’s sight.
41. REVEALS THE INESTIMABLE VALUE OF SOUL GOSPEL CAUSE
42. 36 “And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul?” Mark 8:36-37 NLT
43. 37 “Is anything worth more than your soul?” Mark 8:36-37 NLT
44. Whatever possession we have in this earth is temporary & worthless, It cannot be exchanged for our soul. temporary & worthless,
45. We must be willing to make the pursuit of God more important than the selfish pursuits.
46. The real measure of our worth is shown by how much God was willing to pay for our salvation.
47. God set such a high price on YOU & ME that He thought you were worth the death of His Son. YOU & ME
48. The most compelling of all reasons for winning souls is this,
49. The suffering of Christ prove the eternal VALUE of a soul. VALUE
50. The terrible extent the suffering of Jesus are horrible warning of certainty of death,
51. The reality of hell, and the terrible price of sin.
52. 13 “There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” John 15:13 NLT
53. The supreme example of love is Jesus’ humility in sacrificial service.
54. God allowed His son to be tortured, beaten, humiliated, and die to save YOU & ME . YOU & ME
55. Should we not tell people, after Jesus paid such a high price?
56. If HELL is real, should we not warn people?
57. If Heaven is easily possible to attain, should we not tell the good news (Gospel)?
58. Conclusion:
59. 3 “Those who are [spiritually] wise will shine brightly like the brightness of the expanse of heaven,” Daniel 12:3 AMP
60. 3 “and those who lead many to righteousness, [will shine] like the stars forever and ever.” Daniel 12:3 AMP
61. 16 “You didn’t choose me, but I’ve chosen and commissioned you to go into the world to bear fruit. John 15:16 TPT
62. 16 “And your fruit will last, because whatever you ask of my Father, for my sake, he will give it to you!” John 15:16 TPT
63. May we begin to value the death of Christ by finishing the work He came to do.
