FP Company registration Flex providers sign up for free Individual users create an account and register company details User Terms and Piclo Service Terms are read and agreed at this stage Piclo review all requests to filter out fake or duplicate account requests [DSO accounts are created by Piclo staff following signing of the Piclo Flex Service Agreement]

Asset manager Flex Providers can download the empty template to create new assets or one pre-populated with current assets to make edits Up to 35 data points connected to each asset including technical and locational information Uploaded with automatic virus scan Errors are made visible for issue diagnostics (unlimited uploads allowed)

Qualification process Assets visible to FP who uploaded them, and the DSO of corresponding network Competition information accessible to public and logged in FPs for competition assessment To be qualifying, assets must be located within boundary (or buffer) area, connected at correct voltage level, be uploaded before qualification deadline If DPS (company qualification) is connected to competition, FP must be approved before asset qualification takes place

Qualifying assets Qualifying assets identified on map with ‘icon pin’ (non qualifying assets are ‘dots’) Basic asset details for all assets visible on tooltip including capacity, status and voltage Assets can qualify for multiple competitions Qualifying assets aggregated together per competition (can be disaggregated during bidding if required)

Dynamic Purchasing System Explained • What is DPS? ◦ A type of procurement method ◦ Electronic process and automated • What is the benefit of DPS to a Flex Provider? ◦ Suppliers can join at any time during DPS period ◦ Once approved, suppliers can take part in any competition under that DPS without repeating the admin process • How does DPS impact me as a Flex Provider?

DPS / Company Register process Flex Providers can use Piclo to apply to multiple DPS / Company Registers Each DPS is created when a DSO provides basic details (via spreadsheet) to Piclo Application details for FPs are prefilled where known by Piclo (still editable) Submission history clearly documented on both sides of application (supports rejection and reapplication process)
12. DPS Audit details Audit details collected from Flex Providers Either an Achilles number or documentation providing auditable credit history
13. DPS Legal questions Standard legal procurement questions Included is also insurance cover for employers liability, public liability and professional indemnity
14. DPS Declaration Submission of application requires a ‘Declaration of intent’ to sign the DSO’s Flexibility Services contract In the future, this can become a true signing of a standard DSO Flexibility Services contract across all DSOs
