  1. • Traditional advertising is expensive, and has many cons We

skip over TV ads, or go to the bathroom We skip radio ads by changing the station Who actually clicks a Facebook ad? •Physical stores are in so much trouble they are willing to try Groupon. A service that discounts their products by 50-70% and results in bargain hunters just moving from deal to deal. • Who wants to come back and pay full price after getting such a great discount? Physical Stores are Desperate 3 Thursday, May 10, 12
  2. So how does Tagit drive foot traffic back to physical

stores without offering discounts? 4 Thursday, May 10, 12
  3. • Best Buy starts a contest and defines how many

people they need to walk into their store before they give away a free item. (e.g 42 inch TV) • A player finds the 42 inch TV contest on Tagit’s website. • Tagit gives the player free tickets to place on anything, which the player then places 1 ticket on the TV. • Tagit tells the player that if they go down to Best Buy and scan the contest QR code with the TagIt app (iOS and Android) in Best Buy they will earn an additional 25 tickets towards winning the TV. • They are now in the contest! When the predetermined number of people walk in and scan, a random winner is picked! This is how Tagit Works Tagit changes customer behavior by providing incentives to win free items 5 Thursday, May 10, 12
  4. • Best Buy has 1200 stores • If Tagit gave

away a 42 inch TV for every 150 people that walked into any Best Buy, imagine the volume of how much free stuff could be given away, but at the same time result in a tremendous sales increase for Best Buy. • If a player scans the TV, then chooses to buy the TV, and finds out that they won the TV, they will be reimbursed for the TV. The Vision of TagIt 6 Thursday, May 10, 12
  5. Who does Tagit work for? Anyone who needs foot traffic

Small mom and pop stores. National retailers Car dealerships (Read Below) Air Force (Read Below) Non Traditional Examples: • Car dealerships could give away a small item like an iPad for speaking to a sales person. •The Air Force could even give away a fighter jet ride for a person coming into a recruiting station. 7 Thursday, May 10, 12
  6. Every time a player walks in and scans the code

merchants are charged. However, the merchant is not charged until the number of walk-ins are met. The merchant and Tagit predetermine the number of walk ins before the contested item is given away. Tagit’s Revenue Model Walk-in rate. If a merchant would like more visibility, we offer services for that. • Priority listings will be at the top of search results. • Internal ads can be placed, giving their brand extra attention. Priority Listings & Internal Ads In the future, Tagit will provide consumer data. The amount of targeted data is endless. Tagit can tell merchants who came into their store, if they bought anything, and any additional information the player optionally wishes to include (race, age, etc...). e.g. users pick what the next contest is going to be in Best Buy, and then Tagit can email them saying “Sony Blu Ray player that you requested is now on Tagit, go down to Best Buy to enter.” Consumer Data 8 Thursday, May 10, 12
  7. For merchants: • We bring people targeted foot traffic into

their stores without offering discounts. • If we don’t bring people into the store it doesn’t cost them anything, and they don’t have to give anything away. For users: • Players get to win free stuff for actions they were already going to do, except rather than going to store x, you go to store y because you have a chance of winning the product you want. • When you make something for “Free” it changes peoples behavior, and it is in a persons best interest to look on Tagit before they go out shopping. Creating a win-win situation 9 Thursday, May 10, 12
