13. STRENGTHENING THE NODES A majority of nodes are not sufficiently resourced Stable & dedicated team Sustainable fundings It is a recurrent problem Improve the dialog between Nodes Managers & HoDs

RECOMMENDATIONS TO GB Secure Global/Regional meetings fundings Recognise the global efforts done by the Nodes that go beyond their primary national/thematic duties Reinforce interactions between Nodes and Science Committee Disseminate BID training workshops, in many different locations and languages Involve the Nodes in GBIF webinars
15. NODES TERMS OF REFERENCE PROPOSED AMENDMENTS Rationale is to offer more flexibility by removing number and names of regions Tidy up wording However two additional changes: NC quorum still mentions “4 regions” NSG quorum still mentions “3 regions” Suggest to accept the proposed amendments
