    AND FUTURE CONDITIONS Masterplanning AIR MUSEUM Visitors Center CLT/GLT Factory Innovation Hub New public facilities built at the center of the industrial park will connect and unify diverse inter- actions between industry and tourism. The public facilities will be means of connecting to the history of the port while also providing opportunities to showcase new developments at the site. The addition of a CLT production plant would be just the beginning of a new base for industrial expan- sion at the port.

  4. INNOVATION HUB PROBLEM STATEMENT PORT OF TILLAMOOK BAY SITE Defining

    the Program 1 VISITORS CENTER 2 An Innovation Hub at the Port of Tillamook Bay would serve as a gathering place for industry profes- sionals, researchers, and academics to explore and generate ideas for innovative new technologies being produced at the site. The building’s program will serve as a catalyst for production and provide lasting spaces for all types of industries to use to produce and exhibit their products. PROJECT FUNDING/OWNERSHIP: Crowdfunded by the City of Tillamook A Visitors Center at the Port would be a converging place for industry/agriculture, tourism & recreation, and research & development and would connect to the integrity of the place showcasing the history of the port and its innovations in industry over time, and acting as a trailhead for the beginning of the Salmonberry Trail.
