About Coolest Projects Exhibition • When? Saturday June 17th in the RDS Dublin • What? Over 1,000 CoderDojo youths demoing their projects • To who? 20,000 attendees, including educators, families & industry specialists The purpose of the exhibition is to create an environment rewards creativity, teaches skills and develop an environment for innovation and entrepreneurship.
Coolest Projects Exhibition Ø Started in November 2012 Ø 2016: 700+ projects, 13,000 attendees from 8 EU countries Ø Young people spend 3 – 8 months developing their project Ø Hundreds of inspirational projects created for and rewarded at the event Ø Introduce the young people to entrepreneurs, innovators & industry leaders Ø Provide additional workshops/incubators

Halls 9 The main hall will be transformed into a smart city full of interactive devices include drones, sensors and robotics to give you a sense of what the future of our cities will look like. Hardware and Evolution projects will be demonstrated around around this theme The games summit will include top games speakers, animators and the latest game technologies A hall that will introduce and showcase the latest technologies and practices in teaching computer science that are relevant for both CoderDojo’s and schools Smart City Games Education
