am working from an office I’ll be ready to go from 09.00.. • ..if I am working from home it is nearer 08.00 (or earlier) • I’m better at big meetings/ workshops in the morning • I try to spend the first hour of my day doing email • I will block out time in my calendar for certain tasks (writing mainly) but will always make time for 1-2-1s with the team • My calendar is open and up to date so feel free to book time if you need to speak to me
is a cliche but I really do hate phone calls - especially unscheduled ones • Truth be told the quickest way to get me in an emergency is probably Twitter DM :) • Best way to communicate with me is via Teams if Slack isn’t used • I’m pretty good at keeping on top of my emails so I’ll respond with 24 hours usually
and making sure colleagues less inclined towards self publicity get the credit they deserve • Blogging and being supported in working in the open • Being a part of something [much] bigger - an international network of digital government specialists
poker face - thank god you can turn off cameras! • I am actually quite introverted and find conferences etc exhausting • I admire good writing more than pretty much anything in a work environment • I don’t drink coffee
