How do government and administration need to change the way they work in the 21st century? In this talk, Martin Jordan outlines why working in an agile way, adopting the users’ perspective, and questioning old rules and processes is utterly necessary. He also explains how civil servants can develop services that work for everyone and why they need to need to cut through organisational silos to make services fundamentally better for the people.
Martin Jordan used versions of this deck in talks throughout 2017— presented at IT Planungsrat congress in Bremen, Senatsverwaltung Berlin, Freie und Hansestadt Hamburg and Landeshauptstadt München.
