  2. For Current Req Folders, be Specific! 4 Use specific naming

conventions that include recruiter names and reference #’s to organize your folders. Best Practices: 1.  Include recruiter name in multi-seat TalentBins 2.  Include client name (Agency only) 3.  Include name of position or main skillset 4.  Include location 5.  Include job req ## **Remember! All work is saved at the Folder level
  3. When Building Pipeline, Broad may be Better 5 Use more

generic folders for building pipelines of candidates with certain skillsets in certain locations. **Remember! All work is saved at the Folder level Why? 1.  When you find candidates that are clearly skilled, but aren’t a PERFECT fit for your current role 2.  When you have time to build pipelines for specific skillsets or common locations/reqs
  4. Send Candidates to any Folder When Staging 6 Remember you

can send a candidate to any folder from the “Update Stage” section
  5. Organize Your Folders to Minimize Clicks 7 Remember you can

hide, edit, or delete folders which will save time when navigating between tabs. Hide Edit Delete WHY? 1.  When clicking between tabs, this makes it easier to remain in the folder that you’re actively working on
  6. Always Save Your Searches! 9 When saving searches, make multiple

variations of search strings and use specific naming conventions. Best Practices: 1.  Save multiple searches (easily change a search string by requiring contact vectors or changing required terms to “+”) 2.  Search string naming conventions: 1.  Recruiter/Client Name 2.  Required skills 3.  Location 4.  Email required (Y/N) 5.  # candidates found (specific or broad)
  7. Save a Search in the Wrong Folder? No Prob! 10

If you accidentally save a search in the wrong folder, you can always “manage your saved searches”.
  8. Want a New Stage? Make One! 12 If the default

stages aren’t adequate, feel free to create your own and/or eliminate others.
  9. Template Organization Best Practices It is important to be time

efficient when sending emails, so template organization is crucial. Best Practices: 1.  Load a generic template and make copies for each req/recruiter/location/etc., leaving brackets for personalized edits 2.  Use specific naming conventions to call out differences between versions Make A Copy 14
  10. Keep Your Dashboard Tidy 16 The Dashboard, when used efficiently,

can help you stay on top of your candidate pipeline. Best Practices: 1.  Take the appropriate action! 2.  “Dismiss by closing” all irrelevant tasks. 3.  Create new custom stages if necessary 4.  Check Dashboard each time you log in, don’t let anything slip through the cracks…
  11. Take Advantage of “Activity Icons” 18 When running a search,

keep an eye out for activity icons that notify you of previous actions. TIP! When scrolling through search results for a new folder, HOVER over and CLICK on activity icons for more information on previous actions completed.
  12. Check Candidate History 19 When viewing a candidate profile, quickly

skim the History section to check on previous activities. TIP! On the actual profile, you can view the entire history of the candidate. Make sure that you aren’t stepping on toes, doubling up, or blowing up inboxes J
