2014 Project introduction Creating a platform that drives users to discover, learn, share and grow their interests. The initial intension of the project was to find pinpointed information quickly. This was later revised and modified through the course of the project. It had to be a content source website. A platform that will store information, potentially in several types of media( ariticles, documents, videos, photos), and is meant to inform, engage and entertain users. A site that is focused on providing news or frequently updated posts. Initial concept and intention

Research and study platforms that allowed users to share information. • Sites that place a particluar emphasis on the presentation and structure of their content. • The extent of liberty given to the user to share content. • Also support users who are seeking information in different ways.

2014 Brief about the some successful blogging platforms Research: Blogging platforms It is, in simple terms, the daddy of blogging. The platform powers almost 19 percent of the Web and has been downloaded more than 45 million times. Pros: Customization Cons: Vast array of options can be complicated for less-experienced users. Wordpress Tumblr (the first mainstream service to combine blogging and social media), has a strong community of users. Pros: Tumblr supports custom domain names and reblogging. Cons: ads could make their way to Tumblr blogs. Tumblr The user interface feels like a doodle pad or to-do list, making it a place where one can easily jot down thoughts and come up/develop ideas. 2014 Blogger Google’s take on blogging is Blogger, an easy-to- use and free platform that requires only a Gmail/ Google account to get started. Pros: Easy to use and get started. Cons: Not particularly sophisticated and tied to Google. It includes a feature letting users edit and annotate other people’s work, while it obviously integrates well with Twitter. Pros: A great place to showcase your content to a (potentially) large audience. Cons: Lack of customization. Medium As a platform for showcasing knowledge, bloggers that are seeking to tell stories or impart wisdom about particular topics may find Quora useful. Pros: Strong community that soaks up new and interesting content. Cons: Lacks personalization and ‘homely’ feel of a personal blog. 2014 Site experience Being a high content quality site , it required to be a pleasurable surfing space. The ease of use , tone and manner of communication is crucial to the pleasurable experience. Keeping in mind these factors, the site structure and layout was designed.
