3. Deuteronomy 26:8-10 "So the LORD brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, with great terror and with miraculous signs and wonders. He brought us to this place and gave us this land, a land flowing with milk and honey; and now I bring the first fruits of the soil that you, O LORD, have given me." Place the basket before the LORD your God and bow down before him."

Acts 11:29 “The disciples, each according to his ability, decided to provide help for the brothers living in Judea.” 2 Corinthians 8:12-14 “For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have. Our desire is not that others might be relieved while you are hard pressed, but that there might be equality.”
5. I Corinthians 16 : 2 Paul encouraged the churches in Corinth and Galatia to set aside an amount each week in keeping with income.
6. 2 Corinthians 9 :7 “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver”
