In this article, I argue that "developer marketing" is a misleading term. It positions your company as a service provider for developers, rather than focusing on the value proposition for the client.
The truth is, developer marketing is simply content marketing targeted at a specific audience. This audience has its own set of challenges and goals, but the core principles of marketing remain the same. By refocusing on the client and their goals, developer marketers can develop more effective strategies that drive real results.
