塩化物試験法とは、医薬品中に含まれる塩化物を塩素として測定する方法です。塩化銀沈殿の生成を指標として塩素の量を比較液と比較します。

塩化物試験法とは？医薬品に含まれる塩化物をClとして測定する方法 • 塩化銀の生成で測定する • 比較液として、塩酸を用いる Cl- + Ag+ →
AgCl（水に不溶）
試験の手順医薬品各条に規定量の試料と塩酸を比較する • 試料をネスラー管にとり、水を加え40mLとする • 試料を融かし、硝酸6mLを加える • 水を加えて50mLとし、検液とする • 比較液として塩酸0.01mol/Lを試料の代わりに用いる
• 検液と比較液に硝酸銀溶液1mLを加える • 光を避け、5分間放置する • 黒色の背景で、上または横から観察する
