No Excuses: Ten Things You Can Do Right Now To Improve Accessibility

No Excuses: Ten Things You Can Do Right Now To Improve Accessibility

“We don't have time to add that.” “I don't know how to do that.” “Our audience won't need that feature.” “We're going to charge extra for that development.”

There are too many excuses for overlooking accessibility and inclusive design and I'm tired of hearing them. If you have ever used one of these excuses (or have never heard of accessibility and inclusive design), then it's time to revise your design process. Let's start by looking at things you can start doing differently today. In this session, I’ll cover ten simple steps you can take to improve accessibility in your content, along with some tools to help you recruit and teach others to join you in this effort and create new standards. No excuses!
