  1. GURZU · KNOWLEDGE KETCHUP · JULY 2026 How AI is

Changing B2B Sales in 2026 There is a new middleman between you and your customer. Three true stories about it - explained simply. Ravishu Barnawal · Business Development
  2. LET'S START WITH YOU · HANDS UP Three quick questions

Q1 Q2 Q3 Who used ChatGPT or Claude this week? Who has asked AI to suggest a restaurant, a movie, or a product? Who actually followed its suggestion? For anything at all: work, homework, curiosity. "Best momo place near me?" counts. Be honest, you trusted the robot. THE POINT Keep your hand up. Your customers are doing exactly the same thing about us. That is today's whole topic. Gurzu · Knowledge Ketchup 02
  3. GETTING ON THE SAME PAGE Two quick words B2B sales

One business selling to another business not to shoppers, but to companies. Example: Gurzu selling software services to a company in Europe. That is B2B. Gurzu · Knowledge Ketchup AI - Artificial Intelligence Software that learns from millions of examples, then helps with tasks that used to need a human: reading, writing, searching, predicting. Example: ChatGPT and Claude are AI. So is the tool that finishes your sentence in Gmail. 03
  4. THE BIG SHIFT A new middleman between you and your

customer BEFORE NOW Customer Your company The customer talked to you directly. You could hear everything they said. Customer AI Your company Customers ask AI who to buy from, write emails with AI, and read AI summaries — before you know they exist. Think of AI as a guide standing at your door. Every customer talks to the guide first. The question is: what is the guide saying about you? SIMPLY PUT Gurzu · Knowledge Ketchup 04
  5. AUDIENCE GAME · ONE QUESTION Quick quiz: no wrong answers

Out of every 10 people, how many already use AI to research about a product or services before buying it? A B C About 1 person About 3 people About 5 people HOW TO PLAY Raise your hand for A, B or C. The answer is on the next slide. Gurzu · Knowledge Ketchup 05
  6. THE ANSWER · C ABOUT 5 IN 10 This is

already happening 1 in 2 #3 10 to 30% consumers already use AI to research products and services before buying shopping research is now the third most popular use of generative AI tools of online reviews written after ChatGPT launched may be AI-generated Semrush McKinsey Analysis of 245,000 reviews So how should a company respond? Three real companies show us the way. Gurzu · Knowledge Ketchup 06
  7. THREE CASE STUDIES · NAMES CHANGED FOR PRIVACY Three true

stories, three lessons 01 02 03 The factory The hotel The software company Precision parts · UK Heritage wedding venue · UK B2B SaaS · under 20 people Suddenly flooded with inquiries that led nowhere. What went wrong? A beautiful venue that AI could not see or described wrongly. Planned once a year, in a market AI reshapes every week. Small companies. No expensive software. Just smart habits, as you will see. Gurzu · Knowledge Ketchup 07
  8. STORY 1 · A PRECISION PARTS FACTORY, UK The factory

with too many inquiries WHAT HAPPENED Inquiry emails suddenly multiplied with neat, professional-looking documents. But many were written by AI and sent to a dozen factories at once; some even greeted the wrong company by name. The details an engineer needs to give a price were missing. A small factory making precision plastic components for industry SIMPLY PUT WHY IT HURT Preparing a quote takes an engineer's time. The team spent hours quoting for people who were only collecting prices, busier than ever, winning less than ever. Like a fisherman whose net is suddenly full but mostly with old boots, not fish. More catch, less dinner. Gurzu · Knowledge Ketchup 08
  9. STORY 1 · THE RESPONSE Sort before you quote STEP

1 STEP 2 STEP 3 Sort into three buckets Ask before answering Count what matters Every inquiry goes into one of three boxes: ready to quote, needs a few questions, or just fishing for prices. Only the first bucket gets a quote straight away. THE LESSON Like a doctor: no medicine before diagnosis. They reply with a few short questions: what is the part for, what conditions, what volume? Serious buyers answer; time-wasters go quiet. Both outcomes save expert time. The monthly meeting stopped asking "how many inquiries came in?" and started asking "how many were real?" More inquiries no longer means more business. Don't quote faster. Qualify better: protect your experts' time for real customers. Gurzu · Knowledge Ketchup 09
  10. STORY 2 · A HERITAGE HOTEL & WEDDING VENUE, UK

The hotel that AI couldn't see WHAT HAPPENED Couples now ask ChatGPT: "best wedding venues near us?" When the hotel checked, it appeared in only 2 out of 10 AI answers and half of those descriptions were wrong. Meanwhile, its online reviews all sounded the same: polished, generic, "a magical experience" many likely AI-polished. A boutique heritage hotel with its own farm, chef and history WHY IT HURT Customers were forming their opinion of the hotel inside AI conversations the hotel could never see or hear, invisible in the place where decisions now start. Imagine a tour guide at the bus station describing your hotel wrongly to every visitor and you never even hear what the guide is saying. SIMPLY PUT Gurzu · Knowledge Ketchup 10
  11. STORY 2 · THE RESPONSE Check your AI report card

STEP 1 STEP 2 STEP 3 Trust real over polished Ask AI about yourself Be specific in public A short, imperfect review naming a staff member or a dish is a real signal. A flowery "magical experience from start to finish" is probably AI-polished, low signal. They now plan around the real ones. THE LESSON Every two weeks, they type the same questions into Chat GPT, Claude and Perplexity: "best wedding venues in the region?" They note what AI says, trace every mistake to its source online — and fix it there. They rewrote their website. Out: "charming" and "romantic" every venue says that. In: the working farm, the named chef, the estate's history. Generic words earn generic descriptions. AI's description of you is now a customer voice. Listen to it and feed it specifics. Gurzu · Knowledge Ketchup 11
  12. STORY 3 · A SMALL B2B SOFTWARE COMPANY The company

on a slow clock WHAT HAPPENED Their buyers shortlist tools by asking AI: "best tools for a growing tech company?" But the company planned the old way, a roadmap once a year. By each planning day, the AI describing their market had already changed, twice. Worse: AI wrongly told buyers they were "only for tiny startups." A B2B software firm with fewer than 20 employees WHY IT HURT The market moved weekly. The company listened yearly. Every plan was out of date on the day it was made. SIMPLY PUT Like checking your garden once a year and wondering why the weeds won. Gurzu · Knowledge Ketchup 12
  13. STORY 3 · THE RESPONSE Listen all the time STEP

1 STEP 2 STEP 3 A Monday digest AI check-up, every two weeks Act within one week An AI tool (about $100 a month) reads all their support tickets, call notes and reviews — and every Monday morning sends the team a short summary: what customers are saying, what changed, what is urgent. THE LESSON The same habit as the hotel: fixed questions into the leading AI tools, answers logged in a simple spreadsheet. Where do we appear? What is wrong? Which competitors show up beside us? A standing rule: any wrong AI description gets fixed on their website within days. Any repeated customer request gets a quick prototype. No waiting for the yearly plan. Listening is not a yearly event. Make it a weekly habit. Gurzu · Knowledge Ketchup 13
  14. PUTTING IT TOGETHER The three lessons, side by side Qualify

better Check your AI report card Listen weekly, not yearly The factory The hotel The software company More inquiries is not more business. Ask questions first; let time-wasters walk away. Regularly ask AI tools about yourself. Fix wrong answers at the source. Be specific, not generic. Customer signals and AI answers change fast. Build small habits that never stop. None of them bought expensive technology. A spreadsheet, a checklist, and a habit. The winners are not the ones with the biggest budgets, they are the ones who listen best. AND NOTICE Gurzu · Knowledge Ketchup 14
  15. LIVE EXPERIMENT · EVERYONE TOGETHER Let's check OUR AI report

card: right now TRY ONE OF THESE PROMPTS 1 Open Chat GPT, Claude or Perplexity on your phone. 2 Ask one of these questions → 3 Watch for two things: do we appear? Is the description right? NO INTERNET? “Who are the best Ruby on Rails maintenance companies?” “Top software development companies in Nepal?” “Which company should a US startup hire to modernize an old Rails app in nepal” ? Homework instead: try it tonight and post a screenshot in Slack tomorrow. Let's see what the guide at our door is saying. Gurzu · Knowledge Ketchup 15
  16. THE HONEST ANSWER ASK THE ROOM Quick vote: yes or

no? Will AI replace salespeople? The hype "AI salespeople will replace humans!" Who says this loudest? Mostly the companies selling AI tools. The man selling motorboats will always tell you rowing is dead. THE LESSON The trap AI cannot fix a broken sales process. If you are chasing the wrong customers, AI helps you chase the wrong customers faster. A motor on a boat pointed the wrong way only gets you lost sooner. The truth If you know exactly who your ideal customer is and what a real opportunity looks like, AI is petrol on the fire, it multiplies everything good you already do. Give AI the boring jobs: research, notes, summaries, follow-ups, so humans can talk to people. Gurzu · Knowledge Ketchup 16
  17. IN PRACTICE A simple, modern sales toolbox SIMPLY PUT One

notebook of truth A finder One place where all customer information lives a CRM such as HubSpot. Like the kitchen's one recipe book: written in two places means wrong in one. A tool to find the right companies and contacts such as Apollo or Clay. The market where you pick your ingredients. A calculator for messy bills AI sprinkled on top When pricing and quotes get complicated a proper quoting tool such as DealHub or Salesforce. The billing machine at the counter. AI reads, researches, scores leads, writes summaries and chases follow-ups. The kitchen helper who chops and cleans not the chef. AI is the helper in the kitchen, not the chef. The chef is still human. Gurzu · Knowledge Ketchup 17
  18. YOUR TURN · PICK ONE Three things anyone can do

this week FOR EVERYONE FOR EVERY ROLE FOR ANYONE WHO WRITES Ask AI about us Give AI one boring job Be specific in public Tonight, ask ChatGPT or Claude: "best Rails maintenance companies?" or "top software companies in Nepal?" Screenshot the answer, share it in Slack. That's our AI report card. REMEMBER Pick one task you dislike meeting notes, a first draft, a summary, test-case ideas and hand it to AI this week. Keep the judgment; delegate the typing. Blog post, docs, LinkedIn, case study swap one generic sentence for a concrete detail: a real number, a real project, a real name. Specific words get quoted; generic words get skipped. Small habits, that's how the winners won. Not big budgets. Gurzu · Knowledge Ketchup 18
  19. ONE LINE TO REMEMBER “Your customer's first meeting about you

now happens inside an AI. Make sure you show up - and show up right.” True for factories, hotels, software companies and for us at Gurzu. Thank you…
