Engagement and place-making with canal-side communities

This presentation will explain how Scottish Canals has been working with canal-side communities to create shared visions and plans for their areas. These local visions have been the key to unlocking funding for a range of interesting regeneration projects with the canals at the centre. The talk will have a particular focus on North Glasgow projects such as Speirs Locks Creative Quarter, the Claypits Local Nature Reserve and an emerging Urban Playground at Port Dundas
