So I sat down with my husband, I'm like, I cannot do all this, I cannot keep up with a two year old, and cook dinner and keep up with the house. Like, it's just too much, something's gotta go. And clearly, it's not our kid. So what are we going to let go of here. And for us, having our house like, fairly together and organized is really important for both of our mental health. So we decided that I'll still keep up with and we ended up that I wasn't cooking as nearly what I was throughout my pregnancy. So that meant eating out more, that meant buying pre prep stuff. And I want you to encourage you to do like that same kind of thing is, sit down with your partner or a friend that can help you kind of sort out what's the most important things that need to get done here. And we're gonna narrow down what do you need help with, in creating a job description, a very rough draft of a job description, and writing down? What are the tasks that you actually want help with? What does this look like, and narrowing it down. Because when you know what you want, it's a lot easier to find it than to say, well, I could use help with this, or with this or this. Patricia Sung 01:22 Let's focus in on one area, one clump of responsibilities that are similar, where you think like, I could find one person who could do these things like, if you have three unrelated tasks, we can't find one person to do three unrelated tasks, you might but then you're looking for a unicorn, it's gonna be real hard. We want to find one. One thing that we can work on at a time, you can add more as you go. You can add more help, you can outsource in different ways you can give more tasks to a person, but we want to start with one very clear goal. Patricia Sung 01:54 So whether that is you know, finding someone to help you with cleaning the house, whether that is I would like a virtual assistant to help me make graphics on Canva. Like whatever it is, we want to figure out, let's narrow it down as much as we can into a small package so that we can find the right person or company or whoever to help with that specific task. This also means that we're looking at like, is this a one time project? Is this an ongoing thing, and narrowing down what it is specifically that we need help with? I want to encourage you to go back to the questions that I asked you at the beginning of, you know, focusing on what's going to make you less stressed what's going to give you the most time back
