Simple Morning Routine SUMMARY KEYWORDS morning, marinate, smoother, clothes, final draft, wrinkly, irritated, ways, starting, toothbrush, change, kids, brain, easier, fall, list, friction points, impossible, bumps, bit SPEAKERS Patricia Sung Patricia Sung 00:00 Now, all right, our next step is lowering the friction points of your morning. When you think about your whole morning, I'm sure you can think about those times where you're getting irritated or your kids getting irritated and things are starting to fall apart, the chaos is beginning, what I want you to do is brainstorm a list of all those times where things start to get hard, things start to fall apart. And what we're gonna do is, start letting your brain marinate on how can you make those times easier, where are the places where you can make those speed bumps a little bit smoother. Patricia Sung 00:32 So examples of these would be like in the last video, when I mentioned keeping a toothbrush near the kitchen, so you're not sending your kid back to another part of the house to do something because you might not get them back. Things like laying clothes out in the mornings, you're not trying to make more decisions in the morning, a lot of families will have their kids get dressed in their clothes at night and just sleep in them and go right to school, because having wrinkly clothes is better than having the fight about getting dressed in the morning. Patricia Sung 00:57 So thinking about what are the ways that you can make this easier for you, when you have that list. You're not going to solve them all today. Like that's, that's impossible. Let's just set that aside. But we're not going to stop them all today. We're not going to solve them all today. But there are a few that I bet you could think of immediately like okay, I can do this differently. Or I can change this or I can move this around so that your morning routine is running a little bit smoother. Patricia Sung 01:21 Remember, we're going to change this five more times. So you know, it's this is not the final draft. Just starting with the little things right, your brain is going to sit and marinate on those ideas and you're going to come up with other ways to make this better for you as we go. But right now are there a few things that you could modify to make it fit you better now I know that I'm this particular video is like a huge assignment and there's a reason that in time management mastery it's an entire module is when we do
